6th Grade Outdoor Ed

Murph attended an outdoor educational camp with her 6th grade class. They went to High Trails Ranch in Florissent, CO which is about 2 hours away on the West side of Pike's Peak.
They stayed in cabins, went on early morning hikes (even before breakfast,) made new friends, and created life-long memories, all while taking in beautiful scenery! (The weather was awesome!)
A gorgeous flower and pretty cool piece of wood
This is one of the best pictures!
Pike's Peak is topped w/snow in the background.
We looked at all the pictures that were taken together & made an evening of it, putting them on the TV & talking about all the fun she had. Murph was dubbed as the fastest rock scaler in her class! Apparently she is not clumsy when scaling rocks & could make it to the top quickly & with ease! Such a great experience for her, especially preparing her for Girls' Camp this summer!
