We spent the last 6 months planning for our trip to Russia & it's finally here! We had a friend take us to the airport & Andrea got a phone call on the way from work that there was a problem with registration at school. She was so frazzled that she didn't notice her passport & Little Man's fell into the side pocket of the car as she stepped out to go into the airport. As the car was driving away, Ryan called our friend who was driving & he circled back around. Ryan's backback was run the airport security twice & hand inspected, due to the adapters. We were a little frustrated & very exhausted as we boarded the plain & flew over the alps on our way to Moscow.

Welcome to Russia! Ryan's brother, Marc met us at the airport & the kids had made some chalk drawings for us at the house! We got caught in traffic & the driver drove over the sidewalk to avoid a stalled bus, then we passed a car accident. We unpacked, then played football & frisbee at the park while visiting.
Day 2
Amy took us on a river tour of Moscow, then we went to Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral, walked around outside the Kremlin & Lenin's Tomb. Marc met us and we walked by the tomb of the unknown solder & around the city.
