Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Roxborough State Park on Saturday & did some hiking/walking around.  There was a mountain lion sighting on one of the trails so we went on the trail that was more of a road.  It was so windy but we saw a couple of deer & some amazing rock formations.

We also hit a few bucket of balls at Highlands Ranch Golf Club despite the wind. 

Monday, we hung out at the pool most of the day.  Ryan & Andrea got sunburned while Little Man braved the waterfall!  We finished off the weekend with dinner at a park with some friends.

SVA Field Days

The kids had their annual Field Day, the older kids one day, younger kids the next.  It was a bit chilly on the 2nd day for those Kindie's, especially since they did popsicles w/parents at the end, but they had so much fun!  The kids have made some great new friends this year!

More School Events

The end of the school year brings many school events in the month of May!  First, is the 3rd grade recorder concert;

Then the SVA Spring Choir Concert;

Last, an end of the year 3rd grade party at the park w/the Diva's reading teacher, Mrs. Buderus!

Horseback Riding

The Diva cashed in on her birthday present & took horseback riding lessons for 3 weeks!  She LOVED it!  She learned how to take care of horses, brush them, prepare them for riding, & mount them, in addition to riding them.  She looks a little nervous, but she did great!

Soccer

Little Man loved every minute of playing soccer this Spring, especially since Ryan was helping coach!
