School Events

We watched a SkyView Academy Girls' Soccer game one afternoon & Little Man & a few other staff students played their own game on the track.  The girls won 9-0!

The school has one fundraiser a year called the Big Event, which is a live & silent auction.  This year the school raised just over $66,000!

6th Grade Outdoor Ed

Murph attended an outdoor educational camp with her 6th grade class. They went to High Trails Ranch in Florissent, CO which is about 2 hours away on the West side of Pike's Peak.
They stayed in cabins, went on early morning hikes (even before breakfast,) made new friends, and created life-long memories, all while taking in beautiful scenery! (The weather was awesome!)
A gorgeous flower and pretty cool piece of wood
This is one of the best pictures!
Pike's Peak is topped w/snow in the background.
We looked at all the pictures that were taken together & made an evening of it, putting them on the TV & talking about all the fun she had. Murph was dubbed as the fastest rock scaler in her class! Apparently she is not clumsy when scaling rocks & could make it to the top quickly & with ease! Such a great experience for her, especially preparing her for Girls' Camp this summer!

Happy Easter

Easter weekend was very busy for us! After a soccer game, a birthday party, & dress shopping on Saturday, we had an egg hunt in the backyard. The kids had 90 eggs to find! (Not hard if you've seen our backyard!)
Ryan took the kids on a bike ride while Andrea did laundry, just in time for Murph to start packing for outdoor ed this week. She is so excited she can hardly stand it!
The Diva & Little Man wanted to pull weeds before going to buy the eggs we still hadn't colored!
The kids woke up Sunday & then colored eggs before heading off to church. Little Man actually wore his vest AND tie until sometime during Primary!

Golden Loaf

On our way to visit Andrea's brothers, we stopped at the grocery store & bought 4 loaves of Grandma Sycamore's bread. Ryan had told our kids how that this was not just any bread, but the best bread in the world! Guess he was right because we ate an entire loaf in about 30 min!! It took less than a week to eat the other 3! The kids even "savored" the last few bites of their last piece! Who knew?

Utah Trip-Last Day

We watched the first session of General Conference on Saturday then met up with Andrea's brothers, Michael & Charlie, as Charlie was in town for conference. We met Charlie's friend, Liz & had a quick visit before driving home.
