If it is the year of the birthday party, it seems like there is 2 or 3 days worth of celebration!  The traditional Red Robin birthday dinner;

Mother/Son Event

SVA does a Mother/Son Event each year.  The theme this year was "Movie Adventure Night."

Fall

As we update our blog, we realized that we are a year late!  Here's to catching up!!

 

 Little Man lost his 1st tooth!

 

 Andrea ended up in the ER then had to have her appendix taken out.  A few of the SVA parents gave her this beautiful arrangement for her desk when she got back.

 

 Little Man had 2 costumes for Halloween this year!  Fireman with the trunk-or-treat, then a mummy on Halloween.  We also had Thing 2 as well as Mavis from Hotel Transylvania.

 

 SVA was invited by Old Navy to have students come and work & help them during their grand opening of a store.  This photo was published in the newspaper!  Way to go Murph!

 

 We had character day at SVA.  Murph was batgirl, along w/half the other middle school girls!  Andrea was Shawn White.  She makes a great red-head!

 

Ryan & Andrea have wanted a dog for a while.  We researched a few, especially because Murph has allergies.  We were looking at the pet store & couldn't resist this Sheepadoodle!  He is an old english sheepdog/poodle mix.  Little Man named him Shadow.

Notre Dame-Go Irish!

Andrea has always wanted to go to Southbend, Indiana to see a Notre Dame Football game. She got her wish when BYU played ND in October. Ryan, Andrea's brother's and dad joined her and flew to Chicago. We spent 4 hours driving around Chicago, seeing every sports venue the city has as well as all the "tourist" spots while waiting for Charlie to fly in. We then drove to Southbend and spent the weekend touring the campus, the stadium, the College Football Hall of Fame, and attended the game. ND won by 3 points and are on their way to the national football championship! We drove back up to Chicago to catch our flight & stopped off where the White Sox play.  It was such a great weekend!
