Utah Trip-Day 2

Wednesday, we went downtown to Temple Square. We took a tour of the Conference Center & then headed over to City Creek, a new outdoor mall. There were lots of fun fountains & waterfalls! We ate lunch & even ran into an old Bishop of Andrea's!

We walked around Temple Square, went inside the Tabernacle, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the Visitor's Center, & then headed to the Children's Museum.

Utah Trip-Day 1

We were trying to decide what to do for Spring Break & had been going back & forth with the idea of going to Utah to visit Ryan's family. Tuesday morning, we decided to go. We got in late Tuesday night & visited with Ryan's parents until wee hours of the night!!

Wednesday, we went to lunch with Ric & Marcie, a few of their kids, & Ryan's parents at Cafe Rio, a favorite place of ours. Ryan's niece, Stephanie came up from school & we spent the afternoon visiting, the kids played dress up, & then we went swimming with cousins! It was great to see Little Man jump right in & even stand under the waterfalls!!

We finished off the day by visiting Andrea's aunt Laura & getting haircuts.

Last Kindergarten Program

Little Man had is his Kindergarten Program & since he is our youngest, this will be our last one! It was hard to see him, but we got a few pics. He did great, especially during his solo!

Colorado Avalanche Game

Ryan got tickets from work to an NHL Hockey game. Colorado Avalanche vs Edmonton Oilers. His sister watched Little Man for us & we took the girls-thanks Nat! We had front row seats, right next to the glass! Every time a player hit the glass, we would flinch-it was that close!

It was so cool to be that close, especially because the game ended in a shoot-out. The Avs won! The referee even tossed a puck at the beginning of the game over the glass to us. Fun times!

First Visitors of 2012!

Andrea's cousins were on a ski trip & stopped by for a visit! We kept them up late visiting & catching up, but it sure was fun! They went to Stake Conference with us before flying home. The kids really enjoyed having someone to play with! Next time, we want to go skiing too!

Ski Weekend w/Friends

President's Day Weekend we went up to the mountains with some friends & skiied at Sol Vista on Saturday & Winter Park on Monday. Lots of skiing for Ryan & girls, rest & relaxation for Andrea, & lots of fun playing in the snow for Little Man. We played games, watched movies & had lots of fun! The weather was so awesome on Saturday that the skiers got sunburned, while Monday was a little colder & windy so they got a little wind burned.

We did the traditional ride on the cabrolet & walked through the village at Winter Park before heading to Smokin' Moe's BBQ for an amazing dinner.

The restaurant had all these funny signs & we liked this one the best!
