Trip to Utah

We took a trip to Utah to say goodbye to Andrea's parents. They were called to serve in the Angeles, Phillipines Mission. We saw lots of family & friends, had family photos taken, & skiied at The Canyons in Park City.

Father/Daughter Dance

Ryan & the girls went to a dance that was put on by their school. Andrea decided to make it special & get them all "dolled" up! They looked so beautiful & had an absolute blast! Ryan even danced with them once or twice!! We even took them to an expensive Japanese restaurant before the dance!

They love their daddy!

Winter Park Family Ski Trip

Murph gets a free 5th grade ski pass this year with 1 free lesson from ski school, so we paid for the other 2 to join her. We spent the weekend at Winter Park & stayed at the Village Hotel.

Right before ski school!

Dinner & games at the hotel

The Cabriolet & walking through the Winter Park Village

They were having an ice sculpture contest. Little Man really liked the castle with the slide!

Fun family trip we hope to make an annual tradition!

New Year's Day Baptism

The Diva wanted to be baptized on New Year's Day, so it would be 1/1/11!

With mom, dad, & siblings before the service

Hmm, like father like son?

With Grandparents after the service

With "Pappi"

Thanks to all the family & friends who made it, despite the holiday! (We missed those who couldn't make it, due to bad weather.)

Christmas 2010

December started out with our bi-annual tree cutting trip!

Yes, this is in the mountains, & yes, it looks like we dressed up in winter clothes during July because there isn't any snow!!

Oh wait! There's the snow, hidden underneath the tree we picked!!

The final product, Christmas Eve.

Among the gifts-traditional pajamas, Star Wars Legos, traditional Wii game;

Password journals, & electric scooters. Great year for scooters, as they could actually use them without the snow!!

The "big kid" was happy to get a Steelers pillowcase! (We bought our gifts to each other back in November!)

Merry Christmas!

Birthday #3

The Diva turns 8! She wanted to go to Fujiyama's for dinner, a japanese hibachi grill & sushi bar where they cook the food in front of you.

Part of the evening includes the chef throwing veggies at your mouth. They also sang Happy Birthday to her & brought dessert.

She received lots of fun gifts, including this horse puzzle. We will have birthday party for her one of these days!!

Performances

Between November, 2010 & February, 2011 my kids were involved in a few performances at school. Yes, I am slow in posting, but am determined to get caught up so I am combining them! I love watching my kids perform!!
2nd Grade Civil War Performance
Being the great mom that I am, I thought I had recorded the song "Dixie" that they sang. Apparently not, but I did catch her looking to make sure I was there!
SVA Christmas Choir Concert
I had no idea she could've worn a santa hat-again, great mom, huh?
2nd Grade "Bugz" Performance
The Diva had a solo & was so quiet! Yes, I know; hard to believe, but true!! She did a GREAT job, though.

If I was truly the great mom that everyone thinks I am, I would have TAKEN video, let alone posted video! At least she had the costume!
